Capstone Campout
The final campout of the year for the whole pack is our Shenandoah Springs Campout (2-4 June 2023).
For the Webelos 2/AOL Scouts, this is their final event as a Cub Scout, capped with a memorable “bridging” ceremony to Boy Scouts for those scouts who are continuing the Scouting adventure.
What to bring (whether camping or not):
If camping, see additional gear list.
Every child and adult must have good shoes and a good flashlight. It will be very dark after the campfire.
- Cub scout uniforms
- Camp chairs – there are some logs to sit on but they are limited.
- Trail snacks
- Water bottle filled with water
- Rain jacket/pancho
Device policy: We want the scouts to enjoy the outdoors with friends. Scouts and other children may not use electronic devices outside of their tent.
Facilities: Latrines are available near the campsite. There are no showers.
