About Cub Scouting
Cub Scouting is a family program for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The program emphasizes leadership development, character development, citizenship, personal fitness, outdoor skills, and advancement.
We involve the boys and girls in a variety of indoor (e.g., projects, crafts, and speaking) and outdoor (e.g., camping, nature, and service) skills and experiences that build confidence, teamwork and respect. Pack 230 has been meeting on Capitol Hill for over 20 years and continues to thrive due to the dedication of its volunteer leaders and parents like you! Young boys grow up fast, and the families of Pack 230 believe that we are giving our boys and girls a valuable gift by enabling them to participate in Cub Scouting. We believe that the time that we invest in these boys today will make a positive difference in the young men and women they become tomorrow. We all believe that Scouting is an important part of the physical, mental, and spiritual development of our boys and girls.
