DESCRIPTION:The American Legion Post on Capitol Hill (Kenneth H Nash Post #8) is holding a Veterans Day Observance at 11:00 a.m. this Monday\, November 11th.  The Post Commander has invited our Pack’s Cub Scouts to participate in the event by handing out programs to attendees.  If your Scout would like to assist\, please come to Folger Park by 10:15 a.m. on Monday.  Folger Park is located at 401 3rd St SE\, across from the American Legion and Brent Elementary School.  Scouts should be dressed in their uniforms and hats\, but may keep their coats on if they are too cold without them.  Following the program\, the Legion hosts a lunch at the Post\, which the Scouts and their families are invited to attend.  The thank you notes that the Scouts made at tonight’s meeting will be delivered to veterans during the lunch.
